My car is a K GT built 13th APRIL 1965, it has the bumper plate shown on page 90. Hope this helps

Fantastic pics, thanks for sharing. I go to goodwood every year and to see these at full chat is amazing. The other year one of these cars had a problem with the motor and as it was the original block they could not risk damage so they some how 'found' a motor in the UK, got it to the circuit overnight, installed it and when I arrived at around 8am were just firing it up, IIRC the car ran well. As I was chatting to some of the very tired guys one of them came up and thrust a shelby american poster in my hand. Made my weekend.

This is all very interesting as I was not far away from needing an exhaust and was considering Motive. I have loose baffles in the system I have, and with it being fully welded have had to part the pipes to do some panel beating on the top of the mufflers to quieten it
Would someone who has bought a concours correct system for an April '65 GT be kind enough to list the Motive part numbers I need for a full system from the manifold back. Also 2" or 2.25" which is the way to go ? Thanks

Does anyone know if the Scott Drake concours GT tips that have been highly rated on here have the same size pipe all the way thru ?. I ask because the pipe in the tips I have reduces significantly in size inside the tip and I cannot see the point in having a nice 2" or 2.25" exhaust system that has to struggle with a restricted end. I will probably buy a Motive system and make my own full bore tips if it turns out the Scott Drake ones are small - anyone know? Thanks

Charles, My car Dearborn 1965 13R has no date code on the base.

Not sure what you are asking. If you have a left mount get your fabricator to make a mirror image set for the right side.
