The Heads have been sold.
1967 289 C7 Hipo Heads non-thermactor emissions, rebuilt with hardened seats, does not look like heads have been ported. Ready to bolt on. 19 cast into corner of both heads, SOLD

Maybe there Forum board called yellow light or 'air cars' listing all the VIN numbers sold with titles only. SAAC web site has a similar forum for Fake Shelby's. At least VIN numbers would be easy to reference.
In my experience fully degreed balancers were used on R model mustangs. If your motor was ever balanced with the fully degreed balancer then I would leave this on. The date code 5E does sound right for a late 1965 shelby.
