If I've done this correctly there should be a picture of my Kar from yesterday's Fudd's Show in Citrus Heights, CA. It was a beautiful day and there were a lot of nice rods, plus original and modified 40's, 50's & 60's cars. I didn't win an award, but it was great getting my Kar out there. Kevin

Michel - thank you very much for sharing your wonderful day with us! I must say, you looked very composed while standing next to your beautiful Kar. I'm not sure I would have been had I been surprised with a TV interview. You mentioned your Spanish is a bit rough, were you expected to answer in Spanish or do you expect your responses will be translated?
In any case, the event appeared to be a lot of fun with a variety of interesting cars we just don't see here in the States. Plus, you were able to take your Kar on a spin on the track....I would love to do that sometime.

Just a reminder that the Halloween Car show at Fuddrucker's (Sunrise Blvd) is this Saturday between 10-2PM. Even if you're not able to show your car, it should be a fun event. If you do show up, make sure to introduce yourself.

I received my book and read it from front to back (just like I've done the three previous editions) and all I can say is "wow"! It's an impressive book and the additions in details, car data, etc. really stand out. A big "thank you" to Tony, Marv and everyone else involved in the book. Kevin

Thanks, Laki. I tried to get my Kar registered for the Mustang Plus show, but I was too late to the party. In the end it wouldn't have worked out anyway since I'm now traveling to Oregon to visit family that weekend. In any case, the Fuddrucker's show will be the first of many to come. Have a great time at Mustang's Plus next weekend. Kevin

I'm not sure if there are any other Sacramento, CA area K owners, but I wanted to post a quick note on a car show in Citrus Heights, CA scheduled for Oct 28th. The details are noted in the attached link http://capitolcitycruisers.org/ I just entered online and I'm car #10 (show is limited to 100 cars), so there is still time.
This will be my Kar's first show since I've owned her (5 yrs now) and fresh off a re-restoration completed last month. There are still a few things I need to do (who doesn't always have a list going in their head of Kar "to do's"), but I think it's time to get her out there.
In any case, if there is anyone interested in attending, let me know. We could meet up and cruise in together...side by side Kar's would be pretty cool. Kevin
