Now that I have your attention, Just wanted to invite all of you to this years Shelby American Automobile Club (SAAC 33) convention held this year at Thunderbolt Raceway in Millville New Jersey on August 15-16-17...where is Millville NJ ? its about 40 miles each way to Atlantic City or Philadelphia PA. So come visit the "bell" or the craps tables and see some real K codes flying down the track. Hey Carlisle PA the show is great but when you hear a small block 289 running 6500rpm down the main straightaway with open pipes if that don't get your heart started then buy a Yugo and go home...This Track "Thunderbolt Raceway" is brand new super clean and nice owned by the same folks that own VIR. Lots of hotels around the area, evening events will be held in super large airport hanger next door ck out http://www.saac.com for more info and http://www.njmotorsportspark.com for track info...I hope to see Marv and Gene there right boys?? Come on bring those old cars of yours out into the sun for once. Always lots of show cars along with the race cars and swap meet items...Last year the convention was in Utah next year could be back out West...its now or never....Oh BTW Mr.C. Shelby will not be attending this year something about a lawsuit
Stop the Press the War(Lawsuit)is over Team Shelby will be at the convention this year in NJ

Yes I'll be at SAAC 32, you will find me at tech inspection both Friday & Saturday days. I have been working with the Shelby Club for years. Look for the Blue or White 289hp K code shirt I'll be wearing Brian
The red one up on the hill by the tent was sweet, it also won its class. you can see a pic of it on Carlisle site under Ford winners. BTW sorry Gene you didn't win the SHO class
Marv, Sorry I missed you on Sunday had to cut out early to help my Dad with something that came up at the last minute. This was my first Ford Carlisle that it did not rain on me. Say hello to your wife from me, next time we will know how to get to Outback the fast way. Had a great time meeting someother fellow K code people....now if you would just bring out your Kars to the show.......Brian
Needed to bump up my timing last night and can't get my distributor to turn. My dist. is a mint C50F 12127 Dual-point on a mint cobra intake. Last time I tryed to turn it about two years ago. I used a large plier (it was hard to turn then also) and put a nice mark around the base of the shaft. So we wont try that again. Tryed starting the engine with the holddown nut/screw out thinking it might turn it but NG. Stuck with low timing...HELP
I'll be there and heres a twist with my K code !! anybody else bring their Kars?????
