Last week was the French Mustang Day on the race track of Dijon-Prenois.
Very cold and even snowing.
I was anyway pleased to drive the K code on the track in the afternoon.

Nothing to do with the vendor and the advert but thought it is worth sharing :
Yes that's my car.
OK your car look great, I don't think I saw it before.
We go sometimes near Paris with the car and we join Le Mans Classic every 2 years.
I suggest you look at joining the MCF Mustang Day in Dijon where I will be if no more issue with Covid, 2nd to 4th, April.
Yes I remember. Unfortunately, no Epoq'Autos this year.
You may find some help from people on this site!
Good luck and we keep in touch, it might be that I am aware of a K code engine.
Bonjour Fieu,
I am based in Lyon with my Coupe 66 k code, where are you from?
It can be that we have been in contact before, fieu is not an unknown name for me.
Yann
Already 50k !
Thanks for the story, reproduction one are not good from my point of view and these covers already damaged one valve on my engine following a part falling done because of bad welding.
I might have find some good one, not exactly like Hipo covers but chrome and not far away.
I post a picture of my engine after restoration done 6-7 years ago, and I will post later with the valve cover change.
It seems there won't be anything but very expensive in the area.
I have asked to some people if they know one in the area.
Obviously it would be easier to get parts ready to be mounted because for the moment, everybody is in containment in France.
I am in France, my car is a Feb 66 Coupe K, and I would like to replace the current chrome valve covers which are bad quality repro parts. Do you have a good address to get ones to be shipped to France.
Thanks for your help,
Yann
Reportedly, Henry Ford II drove the Mustang during the course-opening activities as part of his duties as honorary race chairman
This is a fake statement....
There was a lot of history found and discussed in France about that particular car.
I also saw the car in person few years ago and I liked it a lot.
Can you merge my previous account?
Thanks
Hello all.

Hello all,
Is it still possible to order about 50 T-Shirts to be sent at my home adress in France for an event in May?
Thanks by advance.
Thanks for the message about C4 in K code, reassuring as so many people already expressed that it wasn't produced.
On document when selled from US, it was described like this : "according to the Barrett_Jackson and Kruse auctions, only 6 known K codes were ordered with the C4 : 2 fastbacks, 2 convertibles, 2 coupes". I don't have any idea what this relate to (a month, a year, currently registered somewhere, ...).
For Mustang club in France, I guess this one is serious (born in 1984) due to service provided : http://www.mustangclubdefrance.com/index.php
Enjoy
Sorry, I don't know the person you speak about.
Do you want me to post a note on the french ford mustang forum?
It is a C4-Auto as described by the data plate info.
Trans : 6.
I've heard it is rare as a code K.
Most of people tend to think that no automatic transmission was delivered with K code, in fact I have found it was an option (30 $ more expensive than manual one in 66).
And when people know it is possible, they tend to say that it was late in 1966, but mine is from February!
