Hello,
I have a K-code engine in a restomodded 68 Cougar. I wish to return the Cougar to stock, and am thinking of selling the K-code engine. Can someone give me a ballpark value for this engine? I know there are many unanswered questions re: configuration, VINs and dates, etc, but it is a running, non-smoking engine.
Thanks,
Phil
Phil, I sent you an e-mail about your engine, Chuck.

This is not a K code question but was (C2O E-
the only rear main cap casting number for a standard passenger car 289 (non K code) 289 from 1963-1967 . -
Bob i e-mailed you the pump pictures you requested, chuck.Quote from bobmannelOn page 3-46 I show the C2OE-8505-C water pump. Your C3OE-8512-A impeller crosses to the C2OZ-8512-A part number, which Ford indicates is the standard 4.7" impeller. But, your description of 3.9" would seem to indicate a HiPo impeller. A picture of the impeller and casting number might help. According to Ford, the early HiPo impeller was part number C3OZ-8512-A with a engineering number (probably the same as the casting number in this case) of C2OE-8512-B.
