Two quick questions:
1. What is the finish or color of the transmission cross member on a 67 mustang?
2. What is finish or color of the door hinge springs on the same year mustang? Thanks,

I'm rebuilding my brake booster and master cylinder on my 67k. I want to replace the band that goes around the booster. My questions are: Can you buy just the orginal band in the orginal cadnium finish and if so where? Or, do I need to remove the orginal band and have it refinished. Look forward to hearing from the forum members. Thanks, Qman

About a year and a half ago I found a k code with a dealer installed paxton a few miles from where I grew up in Michigan. The engine ran and the paxton sounded great. I'm now in the process of restoring the car. I've put pictures of the car on this site.

This a web site I found showing the price of the Competition Handling Package.
I have heard that it did come with 15" Thunderbird wire wheel. The wheels are missing, but the front fenders are rolled under for the added wheels size.

KGTman, Thanks for adding to the thread. The 67' GT Vert does have the Competition Handling Package as the Marti report states. It came with the 15" 6.70x15-4 170mph wheels tires. It does have the same Gabriel Adjustable Shocks. But does have an open rearend. This car was built at the Dearborn plant April 28, 1967. Thank you for the pic.
Question for you does your 67' engine have the VIN on the block or trans? This one does NOT, but has the right date codes for the build date.

I drove over and looked at 6F09K189564 with a friend of mine yesterday. If anyone on the site is interested in this car they can email me for my observations. I can say the owner was very open and honest about the car. Q.

Need the advise of the group on this.....I found an aluminum intake manifold at a recent swap meet. The numbers were X2MS and 94248 and had the word of either SHELBY or CORBRA on the manifold. The owner stated it was an over the counter item at ford dealerships during the mid 60's. My question to the forum is.... Would this manifold be correct for a 67 hipo at a MCA show in the street concourse class? Does anyone know anything about this item? The gentleman who owns the manifold wants $300. Is that a fair price for all concerned? Thanks

I have a question for you folks....is zinc phosphate and phosphate and oil different names for the same process? And, what under hood parts need to be done in either phosphate and oil or zinc phosphate besides hood hinges on a 67 mustang. Thanks, Qman

Got a question for you folks. I found an aluminum 4-V intake manifold with the word colt 65 on it. Does anyone have an idea who made it and value?

Does anyone out their have good pictures of a restored 67 k code engine and under carriage? If so I would appreciate seeing those pictures. I've looked on the shelby web site, but didn't find what I was looking for. Thanks

Here is some pictures of my 67gt vert.
My son flew over from Wis. and is giving me a computer lesson as we try to post these pictures. This is a K code we found last Nov. Got it running after it sat for about 22 years. The one picture is of the rolled lip on the front fender. The Paxton was a dealer installed option and was put on at North Bros. Ford not too far from where I grew up.
