What is the buyer fee this year, 10%?
$62k was the hammer price.

In the NC mountains... in God's country. Not a whole lot out there... look up Burnsville, NC.

Been to that guy's place, seemed like a nice fella. Hope someone gets the K VIN for registry.

The non-brass part of the distribution block on a 65/66 would have been gold dichromate. Nearly impossible to re-plate without ruining. I usually just tape up the brass and mist some gold paint on the bracket. Or, find a really nice original one with good plating.

The ones that were originally on the car were also painted light gray.

You most likely can do this by installing a set of the Magna GT front coil springs.

Since I posted a reply to another post about original radiators, I have had several requests. I only have 4 of these, each will most likely need to be re-cored. The price is $250 each. There are 3 manual radiators and 1 auto, :
Manual (All 3 are Dearborn/Metuchen):
1) C4ZE 8005 Y1 4GB date code. This one has a later 67 style top tank
2) C4ZE 8005 G1 4LB date code. (SOLD)
3) C4ZE 8005 Y1 5FA date code.
Auto:
4)San Jose, C4ZE Z2 W-MO 3 65 date code (On hold)
If anyone is interested in any of these, let me know. Can provide digital pics.

Yep, that's cool. I have a doc of similar content, which was the instruction sheet included with the replacement muffler kit.

Post the VIN stamped on the engine, might be someone's original motor here! If anything, send the VIN to Marv and note that it is an "engine only" entry.
-
Would rather hold onto the ones I have now until I finish some of the restorations I'm working on. Fred probably has some for sale.

I have plenty of water pumps. This one has a hi-po impeller on it, will just take it off.

Quote from 6hypo5conv
Can any of these folks replace broken off hose fittings on the housing??
I'd also like to know the answer to that as I have one hi-po pump that has that problem.
-
San Jose are all black in the outer inner fender area.
-
The motor mounts are just regular 289, not hi-po.
-
Yep, definitely available by 10/64!

Not sure if all of them had it, but 68 Shelby small blocks with the Cobra intake had a thin phenolic spacer with a PCV nipple on the back (very prone to cracking).
-
I'll post up which ones I have when I get home, have 4. One is spoken for already.

My personal opinion is you are making a big mistake using a reproduction part for such an integral part of the car. Patch the bottom part with the top hats with a repro but if at all possible, use an original top piece.
