Recently installed a motor with the crappy repro mounts. It actually worked well to have the transmission mounted to the motor, but not have the rear trans to body mount attached. This allowed the engine to tilt back to help the bolt go in for the front mounts. Everything has to be about half-way loose to get lined up.

Hey I totally missed the discussion on this post until tonight because of all the blank space on the original post. Is there any way this can be fixed?
It's not blank space, there are pictures. You have to scroll to the right to see them.

Simply means the decoder is not correct/thorough enough.

The car was probably put together with donor parts from another car, which might explain the brake line bracket issue.

Push the bottom of the seat down and back and it will lift up. Then slide the back down off the tabs.

Thanks for the replies!
Think I will go with 225/60R14.

Quote from BoS
As far as I know, there were no official 64 1/2
models or model year. They were all 65's and as
such should be included in the numbers mentioned
in the letter.
/Bo
That is true to a degree, but you must remember that Ford considered the difference significant enough to jump consecutive numbers and re-start them at 250001 at Dearborn and 125001 at San Jose.
The term 64.5 actually was started by Ford parts departments after they realized how different parts were between generator and alternator cars.

Never noticed the '-' in an original shifter bezel engineering number. Might have a few around that I can check.

The small one. The large screw down was phased out in early '65.

Good info, thanks for taking the time to post!

Bought a set of '66 Shelby 10 spokes for my '65 fastback. The size is 14x6.5
My car has had the shelby drop to the front and traction masters on the rear. Don't recall if the rear has been dropped any, probably not.
Looking for a good tire size to use for occasional driving and maybe a trip to a road course once in a while. I'm thinking a 215 would be the best width, but am torn on sidewall size. 65, 70 or 75?

Sounds like a typo on someone's part!

We'd be very interested in that letter!

NOS or original used radio delete plates come up for sale on ebay from time to time. There is also a reproduction available.
Tried an antenna wired inside the RH A-pillar once. Worked ok, but not the greatest.

It could be either. Check the "footprint" left in the metal from the bolts. Should tell you which way they were originally.

This is a pic of an A code, but shows the spring bracket:

I have the original H-pipe from the K convertible that has the side tabs and I also have the NOS H-pipe with side tabs. Should be able to modify the intermediates with notches!
