The supercharged badge looks like the ones off the Thunderbirds.

    Hi Gene.

I've read this and understand what you're saying. What you linked to however is the final part of the puzzle. I'm talking about how to upload pics to sites such as Tinypic and what other hosting sites that people use.

Quite a few new members may not know about sites like these and thought an explanation of how they work might help people out.

Qballll posted this to a new member:

I thought this was written brilliantly and is very easy to understand. This is what I was trying to get across but didn't explain properly. In this thread other users could add what website they use to "hot link" their pics.

    Hi Walter.

Great looking car. A tip someone gave me on this site was to use a solder iron on the carpet where you're going to drill through as well. I had the holes but no console. This worked for me. Fred's on top of it though.

Hello to the powers that be.

It appears that a lot of people ask how to post pics on this site when they join. Would it pay to have a sticky thread in the New Members area called "How to Post Pics"? On that thread we could add in whatever picture upload website we're using.

    Just an idea.

    Regards,

    René

I worded that very badly Fred, I do apologize, but I was not having a shot at you. I have deleted the offending piece.

What I find interesting are the rear lights going to that outdated cut into the bumper look. I gather Ford did this to give the car a more rounded look. In my way of thinking, on the original Mustangs you could have all the square edges you wanted because the shape of the cars were do damn brilliant. I don't mind the current shape, where I think they stuffed it up is the size of the back, it seems too deep. I gather that's one of the reasons the Shelby's didn't have the continuous lights on the back, it would have blinded the driver's behind.

It looks like Chrysler got it right with the Challenger. I'm not sold on the Camaro. Hopefully your economy will begin it's upward trend quicker than everyone expects and that the big 3 survive and grow into the future. The world needs a strong US economy. The average Joe shouldn't have to pay for the sins of the Banks and their mega rich CEO's who get there huge salaries irrespective of their performance.

    Here's hoping and praying guys.

Going by the sellers logic I actually have a Shelby Mustang that never quite became a Shelby Mustang. Damn, sooo close!!<img src=images/icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle>

    Hi All,

I am wanting to buy <i>The High Performance Mustang</i>, 4th Ed by Tony Gregory, but wanted to know how recent this edition is. Is there a 5th Ed. coming soon? The reason I ask is the book contains The 289 High Performance Mustang Registry (1,490 Kars), but the latest registry count is now 1727. So I'm not sure how old it is.

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks

    <hr height=1 noshade id=quote></BLOCKQUOTE id=quote></font id=quote><font face="Verdana" size=2 id=quote>

    Hi GT-K.

The book's been out around 18 months I think. I doubt it would be updated anytime soon.

<BLOCKQUOTE id=quote><font size=1 face="Verdana" id=quote>quote:<hr height=1 noshade id=quote>I am selling my personal K code matching numbers 4 speed fastback. I had the original motor rebuilt to factory specs. All original K code parts intact. The engine block as well as the 4 speed transmission still has the VIN NUMBERS present. This is a rare 65 deluxe interior car that came with the 66 gauges. Never had any rust or accidents. Very straight. I have a NOS GT fog Light setup with NOS grill that goes with the car if to be converted to GT status.

Very hard to find a Matching numbers car at this price if at all. <hr height=1 noshade id=quote></BLOCKQUOTE id=quote></font id=quote><font face="Verdana" size=2 id=quote>

Tell me something guys. This car is not a GT, yet it has the 5 dial cluster gauges. I thought that only came with the 65 GT's, or was the 5 dial cluster associated with the Pony interior?

    Thanks,

    René

Hi to all, just introducing myself to forum members, after we received our k fast back a month ago. Will be great to observe the knowledge of you blokes!I love working on the old thing, it is so simple!

    Thanks John

    <hr height=1 noshade id=quote></BLOCKQUOTE id=quote></font id=quote><font face="Verdana" size=2 id=quote>

Hey another Aussie!! Welcome aboard John. There's a ton of knowledge hiding in here just waiting for you to find. Where in Oz are you?

    René

    <BLOCKQUOTE id=quote><font size=1 face="Verdana" id=quote>quote:<hr height=1 noshade id=quote>

Still relatively new to this K code thing ( I own an A code 66 gt ) Ive seen someone selling a 65 mustang K code down under with a paxton super charger. Is that an add on or was it an option back in 65/66

    <hr height=1 noshade id=quote></BLOCKQUOTE id=quote></font id=quote><font face="Verdana" size=2 id=quote>

Pala, what details have you got on this K? Where is it for sale?

Unfortunately this isn't a new problem with these repop yellow top coils. I've had two duds. Both of mine died in heavy traffic. One when I was the first car on a single lane roundabout. I ended up putting a Pertronix Flamethrower on the car and have never had a problem. I only swap to the yellow top for shows. I don't think I can trust a repop yellow top at this stage.

Pity you didn't come here first Mark. You have have avoided that final stage %%#%#%%%%#%#%###%#!!

    Hi there.

To the left of the photo you will see a title

"IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards"

It should look similar to this:

    [ IMG ]http://i35.tinypic.com/4jkpdx.jpg[ /IMG ]

Left click on the contents and it will copy that to your computer's memory (simplistic). Come onto this website, then to this topic. Click on the edit topic of one of your threads, find a clear area, right click on the mouse and click paste. The line that is on the Tinypic site should be on this thread now. Click on preview and your picture should be there, then simply click Post New Reply.

If you still need help, send me the tag you created for your pics and I will do it for you.

    Regards,

    René
