The letters Q-Z were only used on the Warranty Plate Date Code as shown in the book. Casting/Stamping dates never used those letters. Rather, usually A-M leaving out the letter I. Look at the example of the Date Code on the Head on Page 21.

A few Shelby Automatics (6???) had the Holleys but did not do well with them and Shelby immediately switched to the Autolite Carb.
-
Kudos to Brian Walshe who brought his K to the show- the only K there.
-
Are you sure that is the exact info on the Tag? The "C GF AT" does not look like a Carb Engineering Number. The "4FD" is 1964, June, 4th week.
-
I would think that by Feb. '65 that they would have exhausted those C4OF-AL Carbs????
-
You have a '66 4-Speed HiPo Carb...
-
Could that be the C/O (Customer Order) or D/O (Dealer Order) like on the Buck tag?
-
What about putting the Page option at the bottom of the page as well as the top for multiple pages? If you are reading the page, then you are at the bottom and must go to the top to get to the next page.

It will definitely fit a 390 and I'm pretty sure that it will fit the 428. Isn't the 428 in the FE family?
-
I'll have to "dig" for that, maybe tomorrow. OK?
-
Have you checked the Engineering Numbers on the Rear Springs of both cars? Are they the same?
-
All '67 K-Codes HAD to be GTs. All the GTs used the Competition Handling Package. The springs were either 625 lbs. or 650 lbs. depending on the body style and time of production. This is on Page 178 of the 4th Edition.

I really don't think it's different. The '65-66 is 9 1/4" long. I think that only the '67s had an Engineering Number on them.

Garth, it was registered 04/07 by someone in VA. There is no Warranty Tag info in the Registry. Please send me all of the information on the car including who you bought it from, where, when. Also previous owners with names, places, and dates. Thanks, Marv.

Thanks Toolbox. I just sent him an Email inquiring if he made the system and if so, does he plan on doing the Mustang Arvinode System.
-
Hank, please don't accept any cars in the New Cars section as I now have a copy of The '64.5-66 Mustang Production Guide. I want to make sure that none of our K-Codes are not some other code in it- possible rebody...
-
Hank, why is the site running on Pacific time instead of Eastern time? Most of the US population is in Eastern Time....
-
That is correct. See Page 44 of the 4th Edition.
-
Hank, when I in the Admin Pages, I cannot add a new car. The Menu that comes up is incomplete. It's the same if you are in the New Cars Page or the ADD Car Page.

Bill, look at Page 64 in the 4th Edition of Tonys book, The 289 High Performance Mustang. It explains the difference.
