After cleaning pump arm and pin using bottom and front holes with carb cleaner I removed the spring and bottom arm to spring and pin came out with long needle nose pliers working from center.Push spring up and pump arm comes lose. Now all I have to do is get diaphragm out of housing and find rebuild kit and I'm good to go.However this is a 3734S pump and not the crimped kind housing as my car is early!
If you find a rebuild kit, please let me know as I have a pump needing rebuilt also. Thanks.

Speaking of when the car was mine the data tag on the door was original to the car and the one pictured looks to be it, the original warranty card that agreed with the data tag was also in the car, also the original owners manual that was completed by the dealer selling the car was also in the car and the data also agreed with the data on the door tag. Have never seen a A code 65/66 with a 9" rear end from the factory, was involved with Mustangs from 73-98 and have owned about 150 and seen many more, perhaps an A code could have been special ordered with the 9", that i do not know.
Having ordered new Fords back in this time period, I'm quite sure that you could not order an A-Code with a 9" Rear End.

Please post price per guidelines. Thanks.

A Passenger's Side Vent like Jeff's example would probably bring similar money... A picture of a Radio Delete Plate ('66) and the early Heater Delete Kit is on Page 143 of the 4th Edition.

I have some Heater Delete parts. I sent you a PM...

I apoligize to you Fred for not reading the post more clearly. Because you, if anyone, know the difference between the heads, but I thought it was one of those typo errors. Sorry everyone...

BTW, Dearborn had Buck Tags...
-
Fred, the A-Code did not have the K-Code Heads...

Thanks for providing that info Gene as I have been on a hiatas. I've had some health issues and am now recovery from surgery. Over the next week or so I should be more active on the site. It's good to see the site still going well.

Kevin Marti of Marti Auto Works can tell you exactly as he bought Ford's Database 67-73(?). He does charge a fee, but you can get the exact numbers you are looking for.

I have a set of Thermactor castings. I will have to check the date codes. If I remember right, they were not date matched.
-
No, the C8 is no longer available from Ford.
-
Kim, I can contact the registered owner and see if he would like to communicate with you if you want me to. As far as the Door Tag goes, I don't think that he would be interested as he changed the Date Code so that he could make it a GT. Yes, it is flagged as such in the registry.
-
Dave, send me all of that previous owner information along with dates and I will add it to your registration- provenance. And anyone else with previous owner/history info send that WITH YOUR VIN to me and I'll update your registration.

Yes, '65 engines are Black and '66/67 are Blue...
