I use a bottle of Comp Cam additive with every oil change. I did since break-in day & still do on all my classic cars actualy

isn't that loaded with graphite? I think that will make your oil filter less efficient. And is one reason Comp Cams recommends changing the oil and filter after relatively few miles.

I've been using Mobil 1 15w-50 in my k code engine for 22,000 miles without any issues. It has the full load of ZDDP (1200 ppm)

Thanks to everybody who voted for my car. The contest voting is over in two days so the waiting part is almost over. As soon as I know the results I'll post them.

I got great feedback from all the forums I regularly visit, as well as a warm reception from the places where I was a newcomer. From Iceland to Switzerland, from Dubai, to Japan, I was happy to find Mustang Clubs that still have the fever we all know well.

definitely keep white walls, and go with the 205s (my opinion) I just got some myself, and they were Yokohoma Avid Touring. Not expensive at all, either. Do a search as there was a good thread on this within the past year.

there are some good tires in the 195/70-14 size (I use Goodrich Traction T/A in that size). Don't know about the white sidewalls

I'm curious, why is the 68 GT350 Gold/Black. your favorite one to drive?

if they were all of equal quality, which they probably aren't. But if they were I'd keep the 65 GTK Fastback & the 67 GT-500

    . no contest.

Let's all get out a vote for ZRays Shelby. As you can see, it's top shelf! Vote! Vote! Vote!

    Gee Marv,

thanks for the endorsement. Coming from you it really means something. I think the judges should have picked more Mustangs, but since they didn't I need to win this thing for all of us.

They will work with hatchet as that was the idea to strengthen the timing of camshaft and reduce parasitic horse power loss.I'll check into finding them in the shop and quote price.

    put me down for one,

    thanks,

I just found out my Shelby Mustang has been chosen by the New York Times to be one of 30 finalists in the New York Times 2008 Collectible Car of the Year Contest!

it's a public vote thing so Please go to web page above and vote for my Shelby if you think it's deserving. You can vote once a day

I just can't believe out of 100's of cars they picked the GT-350 as a finalist. It's not a show car by any standard, so I'm just floored at being selected, and proud to be the only Mustang to be chosen as a finalist.

    thanks,
