I'm curious to see how much this one goes for. It's hard to say if it's been tweaked w/o seeing the doors or trunk bolted on and no pictures of the structural areas. If it were me I'd definitely have somebody take a tape to it.

I wonder why they had a different standards on all the parts (year month day, year month week, year month, dots, alpha, numeric, etc). Any others?

The one that I have is NOS and has a "65" year on it. It has the dots, looks like mine is June or July (hard to tell). Its located on the transmission mounting surface. What an interesting way to mark the month...

Reduced price from $180 to $160. Anybody?
-
I definetely agree, the people on this forum kick a**.

I guess my question is: Does the bellhousing need to be dated to the car or the engine build date?
-
I'm building a Dec 64 build date block and was wondering if a "65" dated year bellhousing would be acceptable? Does anyone know?
Thanks

Thank you guys for the feedback. I guess I'll have to keep my eyes out for ebay auctions on these. Mine is NOS so I'm not sure how much value it would add over the restored ones or if there would be a difference. I guess it depends on the quality of the restoration..

Does anyone know anything about the EFFPI steering wheels? It says EFFPI on the front and Made in Italy on the back. Looks to have the turn signal cancellation on the hub. Was this an upgrade option?

Hi All, I took some pictures of a couple NOS rods that I have. The holes for the piston pins are located pretty close to one side of the rod and the thin wall concerns me a little. Does anyone have any expertise in this categogry to tell me if this was common to find on these? Should I be worried using these in my engine? Both rods are similar...

Thanks for the help. I sent them a message asking them for more details.
Jr.S - I appreciate the other offer, but 4D would be too early.

I still have some of these left. They all have a C4OE-8592-A casting number which should be correct for a 64/65 (without thermostat pocket)
*I am a bit confused on what the part number should be as the labeling seems to vary on all of them. They all however have a p/n C3OZ-8592-A and some with a "(C4OE-8592-A)" or "(C4OZ-8592-A)" secondary number.

Hello,
OEM used pair of C5OE hi-po heads. Standard size Fomoco valves. OEM springs and retainers. Unmolested set that weren't rusty and has never been resurfaced or altered in any way. When I got them they were said to have been pulled from a running engine and they did not smoke. I sent these to a reputable shop in Valencia, CA and had them cleaned, inspected, and confirmed that there are no cracks. These would be good candidates for somebody who is looking for a fresh start with a set of heads to rebuild.
Date codes:
4G23 (July 23, 1964)
4H3 (August 3, 1964)
Priced at $1800 OBO

The pair of NOS C3 hi-po heads have a 3J19 date code. I might only be interested in trades at the moment.
