Thank you for adding my car to the forum. I had a great time in Birmingham and am excited about seeing many friends in Indy.
-
It was my pleasure to start the car up, the system is wonderful and the sound is very aggressive. I hope everyone had as good a time as I did at the 45th!

Dave gets all the credit for spearheading the project. I wish I had not thrown away the exhaust years ago!! I tried to order the rear resonator straps from NPD and was told they have been backordered since Nov. Not sure if Joe has any yet at Waldron. I know this, I love the sound from this special exhaust.

$31,000 . I thought it looked nice, but didnt like what appeared to me to be oversize tires and wish it had the dual redlines

I appreciate the credit in the article Dave. However, your hard work and dedication to this project deserves all the credit. I was the dummy that threw it out!!!!! I love it and you are my hero for allowing us early K code owners to bring their car closer to the way it was when built!! I do hope all members and their families have a wonderful Holiday season.

Yes Indeed, I am planning on being there, Hope to see lots of K nuts!
-
thanks everyone for the information, Jim did have them and the man I met at the Columbus show was able to order them from him.
-
Richard, I too was glad to see you again, and you are very kind! I do Love the sound of the Arvinode system and enjoyed talking to everyone. I will try to get the info on the screw covers to the man that asked me. Thanks everyone for your assistance.

I purchased screw covers for my 65 K last year and over the past weekend had several people looking for a source. I got mine from Ebay seller Shelby 7 and also had the name mmv.boss302@att.net, Neither seems to be woking , Anyone have a source as I would like to help these fellow Mustangers. Thanks to all

Just wanted to let everyone know, I had the original hangers and went to the local hardware store and purchased straps that are used on a chain link fence. Drill a hole, trim them up a bit and there you have the rear strap at the resonator. I ordered the correct style clamps from National Parts Depot then received the backordered items from Waldron. I tried to use lag bolts like came on the car, but could not get them to tighten properly. The system looks and sounds wonderful, I am sure all will enjoy it very much.

I wanted to let everyone Know that I finally got my Arvinode system installed today. With the dual quads, it not only sounds like a racer, but it has quite the pick up! Wow! what a rumble!!! I need to adjust my carbs as it seems I might be running a bit lean. but I am very pleased with the system and the sound. I telephoned Joe at Waldron's exhaust and delivered the good news. I will be at the show here in Columbus June 22, please stop by and say hello!

I received my exhaust from Waldron's on Thursday, I hope to have it installed within the next two weeks.
-
Dave your car sounds fantastic! My system should be here in the next few days and I plan on having it installed by the National Mustang show here in Columbus in June. I appreciatethe mention in the Waldron website. Joe is a neat man, and I look forward to meeting him when I attend the fall Hershey swap meet. Dave hats off to you for all your hard work and perseverance thru the entire project. I cant wait to get my system!!!
-
I located the original front hangers for the Arvinode exhaust and will be able to install them once I get the system from Waldron. Your car looks great!
-
Dave that looks sooo so good and sounds great too. Where did you get teh hangeers at the rear of the floor pan (at teh front of the axle) I see it attaches to the tailpipe and not the muffler like the service replacement. I have already placed my order with Joe, but he says that hanger will not be included. Any suggestions? I can't wait to see it and hear it on my car!! Incredible work and Thank you so much for all your hard work!!!

Looking at the drawings and pics, it is a different type of hanger than the service replacement mufflers use. I am anxious to see what yours looks like, By the way, how was the car show last weekend?????
