Personally I don't believe these heads have anything to do with Shelby.I've raced a SS/L for many years and back in the 70's had and seen alot of SBF heads that racers sent to Mondello to have done. That's all he has here is a set of early model standard heads that somebody sent to Joe to get done.

After NO real buyers and checking all the numbers and looking car over I decided to paint and detail car back to the way it was delivered.Car is stripped down now and am going to get body soda blasted and in primer in the next month or so.Took rear-end out of car and am detailing it back to original.Car did have 4.11 and Detroit Locker that I was told was ordered in the car when I bought it.The things done and stories told have all been true so far and hopefully in the next 2 months can get the car painted and body back together.Talked with a good friend of mine who has done many major restorations on some very expensive factory race cars that this car is truely one of the 12 built for G/S racing as even Ed Terry had one he raced in the same class and was built like this one as he restored it and is owned by a friend of his.

What color is gas pedal, natural or black on 65 Mustang bolted to firewall? Also was alternator brackets black or natural? Also was horn down on frame rail or core support on 65 Mustang built July-Aug.64?Have had some stories told and want to see what someone else says.

Well have had 4 offers but no sale so I'm in the process of going thru the motor.Taking the 12.5 pistons out and putting 10.5 pistons back in and freshing the motor up.Motor is complete with all correct parts except for fan and factory headers which this car had tube headers on.Am going to detail firewall by stripping and putting new correct paint on.The price is $28G freshened so who wants it?

I got to meet a few fello's from the forum and look at their cars. Was there all 3 days and had a pretty good time as I counted 6 Hipo cars and might even missed a few.Nice area for show and weather was pretty decent also.

I seen on the net the Derby City Mustang Club is having their National Meet in Louisville,Ky. at the Masonic Home.Called to ask about accommodations and the president said they were already booked with 750 cars for the show not including cars forsale.Anybody in the close proximity of show should try to attend.Super nice show and proceeds go to children charity.Located on 81 acres of nice property!
