I don't know personally how CT. DMV is but I can tell you if they are like most other states they will only keep records for 10 years. With the advent of the computer they no longer need to keep files stored on paper.I chased a car back 10 years from one of the states known to have stored the records the longest (Ohio) and could only get them back for 10 years. Was verifying the story of ownership which was true and they only went back for the 10 years. Not to mention they also had a fire in the records room in 1993 I was told. The other only recoarse you may have would be check with Customs.I know nothing about their records but it will be a great chase for you to test your prowess!

Somebody would have to be out of their minds to pay that kind of money for just a housing.I can certainly see a complete rear-end for that kind of money but that's crazy for just a housing and a repop at that. You can NEVER gauge a price over one guy who has DEEP pockets who just may need a part at that particular time. That's the reason that most people ask these prices for these parts and cars is because that seen one or knew someone who sold one for that kind of money and now that's what they want for theirs. But it's been that way with Mustangs for years as everybody has one...Get real and good luck!

CSX is that the same formula as the PPG tag as it's base/clear application and your motor parts that are gold have a shine so I'm assuming that is the same paint deal or is it?...Oh by the way caspian65...THANKS!

So the thinking is that the 65 Mustang got only a Limited Slip posi and you couldn't option a Detroit Locker?
-
Anybody know if the 3.89 was just the standard gear ratio for 65 with the Hipo and if the 4.11 was optional?
-
Anybody have a listing or source to find dealers in the Cleveland area for 1965?
-
Do you still have can or the code or can someone get it from Charles?
-
Does any body have the correct color code or paint number for gold air cleaner base so you can buy the correct Mustang color from paint store?
-
I was sure that first pic was not a Hipo bar.The other is correct but that dealer is smoking crack!

I disagree as it sounds like he has a little hp and with that being said most people who build hp don't baby their cars.Go with a good 9 inch with 31 spline axles and traction lock posi as you'll save money. If you did the same thing with the 8 inch you'll spend more money as most of that stuff is high dollar!

Any body have any good pics of early clutch/brake pedals with the black/natural colors as I'm trying to figure out correct angle etc.?
-
Is that pic a correct Hipo Bar?
-
Doubt if anyone in the radiator business would really care or take the time to stamp a radiator as no one cares enough about this stuff but us!
-
That's true as all the good stuff is gone or not being sold!
-
I had asked that same question before and got NO real answer as my car is a July/Aug 64 built Mustang and wanted to know what correct color to paint the air cleaner base?
-
A hardwood block with a light tap to start one end works best.I personally wouldn't use a metal can opener on my trim but JMHO!
-
Don't worry as the price will be something CRAZY!
-
Great post as that's what every body needs to do is pass these crums names in every spot you can to give them a little FREE advertisement!

The old drag racers rule is 2.1 cfm for every 100 cubic inch and some common sense for camshaft and type of driving!

I'm pretty sure there is more info to that stamp then just Autolite?
