at the mustang show in Des Moines

no one asked my son patrick

why he had the HiPo emblems on a 'C' code car

he had a ready answer tho;

'they were on my car when i bought it

and will only stay on until my dad

is finished restoring his K code!'

how do you protect any inner machined surfaces?

i'm not quite sure how one preps

the metal parts before this phospahte dipping?

do you just take the piece all apart

so that the inside of the part is dipped also?

we left at 0430

since it was threating to thunderstorm

i drove back at 1600

my son, patrick,

drove back following the fireworks

and arrived home at midnite

safe and sound

and, i guess they come in 2 sizes

would my '65 be early enough to use the smaller size?

have a question about the emblem on the front side.

my K car had the standard black interior

ie no GT no pony etc.

would the emblem on the side say 'mustang 2+2?'

went here yesterday with my 16 yr old son.

he drove with another 16 yr old friend

and i drove down my '56 vette

we looked around and saw quite a few new mustangs

most of them modified in some way

my son's '66 C code had the hipo emblems

when we bought it!

the guy stated that they were on the car

when he had bought it 3 years ago.

when i get my K code done,

patricks going to give them to me!

he states the mustang and fairlane

ones are different

could s.o. post a pic showing the difference?
