I hit the send button to early before. My comment is about the seller suggesting the Kar cna be easily converted back to original factory condition but it sure looks like a lot of changes would need to be made to do that.
Thanks all for the tips on the clock repairs. That's what's so great about this site, it seems that just about problem you may be having has been experienced and fixed by another member previosly and everyone is quick to offer some good help.
I did buy my kar from Mark about a month ago. Mark was a good guy to deal with and has been helpful after the sale also. I hope your experience was good.

I am very glad to be a part of the forum and look forward to learning more and more about my new (to me) 5F07K. This is my second K Kar, the first was a 66 Fastback and I had it for about 4 years and regrefully parted with it about 3 years ago. May 65 is Vintage Burgandy with a white vinyl top and black standard interior. Options include rally pac (clock does not work), console, style steel wheels, 4 speed toploader. The Kar is a blast to drive and I am really enjoying driving a K again. Good to be bak!
