I think the reason nobody has responded is because with the current economy there are more sellers than buyers and the market for regualr "driver" Kars is really a mystery at this time. The only K's getting good money and selling are the totally restored ones. Those buyers aren't effected by the economy as much, have more extra money for toys, and usually don't buy a collectable car unless it's totally original & restored.

The regular Koupes and non-original other Kars aren't getting what they previously were a few years ago. The potential buyers for "regular" Kars are fewer, because the economy has affected them more adversly.

All that said, I would think that your Kar's value is in the $10k-$15k range. Maybe more, but without pic's it's hard to say, that's just a ballpark. The best way to get a feel for things is to check markets like E-Bay, and the various seller publications for classic cars. That will give you something to compare to as far as what cars are selling for vs. their condition & originality. Post some pic's here and you will probably get more of a response. Hope this helps.

    Listing Info:

This a good project car very solid little rust in floors is only rust has new quarters, trunk pans and tailight panel installed. What you see is what you get no motor no trans.or interior, has original disk brakes on front,gt steering box(HCC-AX) missing front sway bar and 9-inch rear has 8-inch, still has original choke cable under dash. The wiring under the hood is in my shop it has the gray wire for the factory fog lamps, the pig tail is stiil in the firewall for these as well with gray wire. There are 3 vin stamps on front aprons, all have K in them. this is a great car for someone that has a rusty car with drivetrain intact to build. The front suspension is new ,new springs, upper and lower control arms and shocks. The steering is not connected but I will help load on a transport truck! I have a clear Utah title in my name for the car. I will get more pics up.Thanks for looking!

Doors, hood and trunklid are rust free. There is a little rust in the floor above where the mufflers would be. There may be a few more little spots I am forgetting but the car is one of the most solid Utah cars I have seen. The wires for pony interior door lights are still present on side cowl area which leads me to believe it is an original pony interior car, Also it has the deluxe belt light, there is no evidence of it ever having lower rocker mouldings which leads me to believe it is an original GT car as well. The radio area is uncut. The front suspension was rebuilt some years ago as part of previous owners restoration attempt but was left outside in the weather, I also have all but one half of the brake calipers, The car is as purchased from last owner I do not have any history of the car. IF THE CAR GOES ABOVE $ 2500.00 DOLLARS I WILL INCLUDE ORIGINAL EXHAUST MANIFOLDS,SHIFTER,GOOD GRILLE, FRONT HEADLIGHT BUCKETS AND LOWER PICE THEY ARE ATTACHED TO. REPRO FRONT VALANCE, REPRO STANDARD REAR VALANCE,USED HEATER BOX,DRIVESHAFT,SOME USED TRIM AND A SMALL BOX OF NEW REPRO PARTS LIKE F.TURN SIGNALS AND OTHER MISC. LITTTLE THINGS.

<BLOCKQUOTE id=quote><font size=1 face="Verdana" id=quote>quote:<hr height=1 noshade id=quote>This is a very nice restored 1966 GT Convertible in very nice shape inside and out....... Don't miss out !!!!!!!!!!!!!! The best way to describe it would be to list what has been done to it. I might miss something but overall this should cover it. Let the pictures speak for themselves.

First off, This is one of the rarest mustangs built. This is a true factory correct 1966 GT Mustang Convertible K code 4speed......... You don't see these very often.....

I have the original title signed over by the original owner and the original plates that came with the car.... I also have a large stack of receipts from the original owner from back in the 60's - 90's of work done on the car and I have a full stack of receipts of restoration work done this past year..

The classic pony has been restored to it's current condition as I would consider it in very good conidition. The paint has a nice base/clear coat on it and looks very good....... The interior is in great shape as pictures show as the majority of it is new ... All interior guages are in working order as well as the original radio.....The 289 V8 engine starts right up and runs very strong as it has been rebuilt w/ less than 100 miles on it...... It has plenty of get up and go.. Engine compartment pictures speak for themselves...... The pony has the factory correct 4speed Transmission in good working order with no known issues. It shifts nicely through all the gears...... This mustang runs and drives very nice... I drove it today for several hours and has a lot of pep and power and is just a joy to drive........ The dual exhaust system sounds great as it is new....... This pony rides on a new set of Mustang rally rims that are mounted on a new set of red wall tires... Has a new convertible top and convertilbe boot... Has 4 new shocks....In summary this classic pony is a blast to drive and would make a great investment.. This is the classic to have if your looking for a rare car... Let the pictures speak for themselves..

Some detailed features are as follows:

The heads and the cam are built to hipo specs, the block was bored .30 over and has 11 to 1 Manley pop up pistons with new rod , rings and crank bearings. the heads and the block was pressure checked when rebuilt, the heads have been completely redone as well as valves, springs, and guides. new timing chain and gears, new lifters, oil pump, roller rockers, 8 quart oil pan, Shaffer aluminum fly wheel, new clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing, 4 speed top loader transmission... true hipo 289 exhaust manifolds, dual point distributor

Great Mustang that is ready to be enjoyed. This is a rare K code Mustang. The K code Mustangs had the high performance motor like the Shelby's. The motor is a 289 but not the original one. The motor is build up nice. Starts right up, runs great with lots of power. Transmission shifts great. Steering is nice and tight.

The paint looks great. There are about 2 to 3 small nicks that have been touched up. Hardly noticeable. Nice solid straight body. Great floors and trunk. Bottom of the doors are solid, section between rear window and trunk lid solid. Chrome and trim in great condition. All glass in great shape. Windows roll up and down with ease. Wheels and tires in nice shape, plenty of thread on tires.

Interior is a Pony interior and is in great shape as well. No cracks on dash, no rips or tears on carpet, seats. One minor tear on driver's door panel by the door cup. All gauges work. Great investment vehicle. Not to many K Code cars, specially in this condition.

This Mustang is a good driver as it is... It does need some sheet metal work done to the undercarriage floor board driver side. Frame rails, engine compartment and trunk are in good condition. Motor is in good condition and engine runs extremely strong. Engine has been tuned with new plugs, oil change, filter, etc. All lights and instruments work on the car. The shifter on the car needs attention, however the car shifts through the gears nicely. The carpet needs to be replaced. The headliner has two small holes under each visor. The driver seat needs to be re-stitched. The car interior is very clean. The paint has several bubbles coming through around and near the rear vents. Car needs to be restored. There is a small area on the passenger door where a minor amount of glass was used, other then that the car is smooth and not wavy. Engine and engine compartment is great for the mileage and original to the car. Metal is in good condition, windows and glass in good condition, vents work fine, rear seat folds down perfectly and the trunk passageway to interior is in tack and working fine.

Car includes new Cragar SS Wheels and B. F. Goodrick TA Radial Tires with transferrable warranty. Also includes original steel styled wheels and older tires.

    Listing Info:

<BLOCKQUOTE id=quote><font size=1 face="Verdana" id=quote>quote:<hr height=1 noshade id=quote> This is a 1966 Ford Mustang GT Fastback K-code (VIN# 6F09K220785) It has a 289 cubic inch V8 motor (Block # C90E-6015-C 9H25). It is not the original motor but it runs good and has plenty of horsepower. The car is equipped with the GT Rally Package that includes the 14" Rally Wheels, the fog lights in front of the grill, that are not currently wired for power, plus the clock and tachometer set on the dashboard, which do not wok properly. It has a 10 disk CD changer in the trunk and two new 6" kick panel speakers. The car has front disk breaks and rear drum breaks with a new single barrel master cylinder. It has new front shocks and springs, new rear shocks and leaf springs, and new 1" front and rear sway bars. It has a new glass-pack duel exhaust system with GT exhaust tips, a new clutch, a new Autolite 2100 two barrel carburetor, a new alternator, new side trunk panels that need to be installed, and a new GT gas cap and new rear bumper. It is equipped with an "Avital" security system with sensors, ignition kill switch, and key chain remote.

The interior is in decent condition, except for some expected wear and tear. The paint looks good except for some cracks and scratches, with one minor dent on the roof. The glass looks good except some fine scratches on passenger door window. The shift linkage sticks from time to time. The speedometer is not hooked up, so the actual mileage is unknown, but the odometer reads 36456.6 miles. It can sometimes run hot in the extreme summer heat. It is missing some chrome trim and bolts here and there. These are all minor issues that can be dealt with or fixed easily.

I bought the car in 2002 from a family friend, and drove through high school. I slowly worked on restoring it to its original specifications. I took very good care of it, and it has been a good fun car. However I am now attending college and I no longer have the time or money to drive or restore it. I just changed its oil on August 3, 2009. I am selling this car "as is" but the car looks, sounds, and runs good, it just needs some attention. It is fun to drive, and is defiantly an attention getter.

    Listing Info:

<BLOCKQUOTE id=quote><font size=1 face="Verdana" id=quote>quote:<hr height=1 noshade id=quote>For sale is a 65 GT fastback Mustang K code w/ 4 speed transmission. This car has a fresh 289 motor installed with 1500 miles on it that was built by ATK engines. http://www.atk-engines.com/. The heads are not the correct HIPO heads but are the correct stamping for that year. The exhaust manifolds are the original HIPO set and the motor is fed by a 650 holly double pumper. New brakes, rotors and master cylinder have been installed. The car has new dual exhaust and has a low clean sound. There is a rally pac but it is the 6k version but is not hooked up. The Mustang has a 4 speed which shifts very nice and has a new clutch and related components. The Mustang starts, runs and shifts great. The car has been in storage for some years. Please keep in mind that it is 44 years old, but is virtually un-molested. The paint is a stage one with no clear coat and was applied ten years ago and still looks great. There are some nicks in the paint throughout but nothing major.( please see pictures) The Mustang always gathers a crowd and is always complimented on. The interior is clean with Pony interior and no tears in the front seats but the rear seat has some wear and the carpet is faded in some areas. The dash is cracked but does have a dash cover in place. There are some fine scratches on the driver side window and the rear window has some scratches on it also. The doors, widows and locks are in good working order. The trunk area is clean but does have a small rusted area towards the front on the drivers side. The trunk lid spring is also missing. The springs have been replaced on all four corners with new but the car could use some shocks. The under carriage is in very good condition with little wear. I have tried to give an honest description of the bad point of the car. Please feel free to ask any questions and please read all the terms on payment and shipping. Overall this is a solid clean car that needs some minor finishing touches and is someones chance on a good deal to own a nice K code Mustang. Free shipping to any of the lower 48 states. USA buyers only. Thank you for looking.
