Starting bid $6500, BIN $15.5k
No bids for this E-Bay Listing: 66 K Coupe
by seller "lew-lew39"
car in Oklahoma
QuoteThis is a nice Mustang Coupe that has been refinished. It is Acapulco Blue and was stripped to bare metal before painting. The previous owner represented this car to have actual miles. The Oklahoma Title shows mileage exempt. This Mustang was previous on the Drag Strip was the explanation for low miles. He owned the car the last six years and drove it about 200 miles without racing it.
The interior is very nice with the after market GT steering wheel, and radio. The dash pad is new. It has automatic transmission that has a shift kit, and the B & M Pro Stock shifter. The Rocket Wheels have like new tires that are 215 X 60 X 15 on the front, and 295 X 50 X 15 on the rear. This is a great looking (K Code) Mustang.
The exhaust is new. The car is clean underneath. When you peel off the undercoating the metal is shiny and original. It has low gears with a Locker rear end. The Data Plate shows, Body 65A, Color Y, Trim 22, Date 05K, DSO 61, Axle 5, Transmission 5. The engine code is C3Y. It has HP engine block with a 750 Holley Carburetor, Excell distributor. It has an electric fuel pump. The car sounds awesome.

QuoteDisplay MoreMustang Fastback. Car has been in CA from 1965 until about 6 months ago. 4 speed , 9" rear with a 3:89 rear gear. I have copies of the original bill of sale, window sticker, and original owner warrantee card. All original sheet metal (laser straight), floors look fantastic, original
carpet complete with the original dry sound deadener attached, seats and headliner (incredible)
THIS CAR IS LASER STRAIGHT ORIGINAL BODY PANELS, DRY CALIFORNIA CAR This car was
originally silver smoke Grey with black interior. The car was cloned to Shelby specs in 1966 with correct NOS Shelby Parts. The car has a correct original export brace (even bolt spacing),monte Carlo bar, Shelby closed letter valve covers, Shelby small letter intake,
under ride traction bars, and an original Talbot Shelby mirror. The Magnum 500s are even from a Hertz car The car has had 1 re paint to white
with blue stripes (in the 60s). The engine retains all of its correct K code specific parts, has a 19 and a 20 heads, correct dual point distributor, harmonic ballancer, alternator and pulleys, brackets, fan, and fan shroud. I had a K Code expert come and evaluate and authenticate
the date codes on all of the parts. This car has ALL of it’s original stuff. It does has a 1968 302 block. I don’t know if it has the original crank and guts in it or not but you can hear those solid lifters when you crank it. The car runs great and the paint is 10 footer. The value
of the Shelby specific parts alone would pay for the paint job to restore this car to its original silver smoke grey K code (non Shelby status) The car is located in Atlanta GA and
I can assist with transportation. If you have any further questions please call 404-663-3428

This is a very rare K code Mustang Coupe. Vin number is on all 3 apron spots 2 on the drivers side on on the passanger side. Car has been completly rebuilt. Motor and Transmission have about 10 miles on them.Motor has been assembled and balanced by Eddings Engine Rebuliding,(San Fernando CA). Engine has C3OE HIPO heads and a 6 bolt 289 block. (lower end of engine is from a 67 K motor with the exception of after market HIPO rods. Cam is very close to original K code specs. Tramsmission was built to original specs by Davis Kee. Rear end was in car when I bought it and appears to have been rebuilt
New disc brakes, GT style gauges (correct Ampmeter for a 1965 GT). Car has all brand new wiring, it has been wired for 1965 GT options. Brand new GT style exhaust system.
Paint is okey. It is a two stage but has a few impefections that have been touched up. Car was painted then stored for over a year before I was able to finnish it. A good detailing and some TLC will take care of most of the issues.
All rust is gone (i replaced the floor pans and partial firewall metal). All else appears to be solid.
The car has styled wheel hub caps with 4 new tires. All new brake system.Basically the car is new and just needs some final detailing and needs to be broken in. I have tried to keep everything as original as possible. I have too many projects and need to sell it.
Car has a clear PA title. I registered it NON OP in CA but car was never titled in CA.

Reserve Not Met @ $20k E-Bay Listing: 66 K GTFB
by seller "highwayboss102"
Buy It Now Price: $41k
DESCRIPTION:
Here is a beautiful 1966 K code Mustang Fastback that was manufactured in one of the rarest color combinations you will ever see. First, it is a true Factory K code, 4 spd, matching numbers, Mustang fastback that retains all of it's original sheetmetal and is as rust free as you can get. What makes it even more unique is that it is a factory Emberglow Metallic car with tan pony interior. It still has that ORIGINAL interior! This car was very well maintained and hardly driven, but, somewhere down the line, it was modified and now is freaky fast with a three deuce set-up and an AFX hood (I have the original). I have alot of pictures, so ask if you do not see it. Forgot to add a few things I know about the car. This car is a title and owner documented 46,000 mile car, and all the speed equipment (three deuce, and air cleaner) are original Ford over the counter parts that were purchased by the original owner when he picked up the car. I have everything that came off the car, ready to go back on including carb, manifold, and hood. The pictures do not do the car justice, so if you are serious, let me know and I will send better quality pics. I LOVE ALL FORD MUSCLE AND WILL CONSIDER ANYTHING.

I am talking about the flat area on top of the aprons, between the front & rear aprons, specifically between the two bolts on top that hold the coil cover on. You can see it is bowed up alittle between the bolts, and you can really see it when you look at the fender lip. I know from my own experience when I slid up & over a curb doing about 30 (along time ago when I was much younger)that it looked the same. The impact of whatever the car hits, drives the coil until it bottoms out on the snubber, then pushes the coil up into the apron causing it to bow up. It takes a pretty hard blow to the suspension to get that part of the shock tower/apron to push up & usually will require new suspension pieces to fix. That kind of impact will also usually show up in the firewall where the shock tower brace is bolted in, but that area is fairly easy to straighten out. Hard to tell from the pic's if that area is damaged.
-
Was that a standard 1 can rebuild, or did owner kick out the extra bucks for the 2 can rebuild. Is it really that hard to mask off accessories on the engine compartment to avoid overspray? Yuck!!!
Passenger shock tower is pushed up where coil spring meets apron indicating some type of suspension impact. Lots of ?'s
What's really surprising is the money this car is bidding to.

Price lowered again to $15.5k. If no takers it goes to Hot August Nights & Flea-Bay.
Appears to have original radiator, markings on side mount flange are C60E 8005 M1 with date code of 5KB.
This really is a nice complete car, red oxide primer underneath, crayon markings & everything. I know it's not a fastback or vert, but then again, you'd probably have to pay twice the asking price to get the same condtion car in a fastback.
