Perhaps it would be best to mount one up and try it before mounting all tires and having a problem. Thanks for the info guys.

Z-Ray, why wouldn't the 205/70/14s fit? Did they rub someplace? I put that same size on a 66 Mustang with no problems. Would the Shelby be different? I just ordered 205/70/14 BFG T/A radials for my 66Hertz car,now you have wondering. Doug

Troy, I did the same thing several years ago with those pieces on my 66 fastback. Here is what I did, and they have been fine. On the backside you will see pins or studs that that appear to be peened over, or I will say squished. Those studs go through a hole in the fiberglass. So when they mushroom out, they hold the chrome piece in place. Use a dremel and carefully grind the mushroomed part of the stud. Grind in a cicle around the stud until it will push back through the hole in the fiberglass. Place the chrome piece in position on the good fiberglass panel. I used some JB Weld, but I think any good epoxy would work. Make sure the chrome is in the position you want. Mix the epoxy and apply to the stud, around the fiberglass hole it comes through and do the same to the rest of the pieces.I think I weighted the pieces until the epoxy was cured. It worked perfectly. They have been in the car for about 10 years, no problems. Hope this helps. Doug

I am looking for a good lower passanger side rear window molding for 66 fastback. Anybody got one? Prefer a good used piece. I have a NOS piece, but it is short and does not meet the other molding.
Thanks, Doug

Lots of good information here. After reading this topic I am a bit confused as to a radiator I have. It has the round tabs on the top, with a plate soldered on one of the tabs. It reads C4ZE-M2 . There is no stamping in the top of the tank. There are no stampings in the side flanges either. So, is this a Dearborn-Metuchen or San Hose radiator?
