Hey all..hope all is well with everyone..we just had our air cleaner top rechromed..I know that there are tons of places to get repo stickers for the chrome top..anyone have an referals on some concourse quality stickers..I believe there is the hipo 289 sticker and an Autolite sticker ??? it is for a late 66 hipo engine on our shelby..

Thanks guys..thats what I needed to know...every pic I have seen of 66 shelbys shows the oil cap with vent tube hose going to the bottom of the air cleaner?? are you sure??

Hello all..want to thank you for your time and knowledge you have shared with me..this is a great forum with great members..

I would like to know if there is a size diffrence or diffrence in look on the chrome hipo air cleaner on the 66 hipo versus the 67 hipo..

I ask because the one we have we bought about 20 years ago and did not realy know about date stamps etc.. we have a bottom that is dated 7A for a 67 of course we are now looking for a 6a base for our 66 shelby. But also is the top of the air cleaner the same for both years? I know there were differences in early 65 hipo chrome air cleaner but not sure about 66 and 67..

It must have the words CARbureTER made in USA on the side..thank you all for your help in educating me on what part I need..

incredible..incredible work..worth every penny if you have a shelby that needs the right rear end or a hipo car that needs the right rear end..its a matter of what you are doing with your car..are you showing it for concourse judging..then its the way to go.if you just want a rear end then put anything behind your car..but if you want a rear end that looks like a chicken , sounds like a chicken and tastes like a chicken..then an original housing it is...if you cant tell the difference then there is no difference.. same rear end...ok was that enough support to get a free one or one at a discount?? I would pay 1000 for one easy..1500 mayby ..2000...thats a little hard..I hate ebay...and people who have millions of dollars at the barrett jackson auctions who just drive up the prices because they burn money in fireplaces...

man dave..nice radiator..I cant believe that no one is out there making these with custom stamps...I need one for our may 66 car...the hunt is on..lot of info on the 65 radiators..what do you all know about the 66 radiators..??

Hello all..I am new to this forum...was pointed over from shelby forum..My name is Jimmy and my father owns car 1902. We are in detail and replacement mode...our car has a delivery date of May 1966 still waiting for papers from Howard Pardee to see if we can figure out its birth date...but we need an original four speed radiator with a 2 66, 3 66, or 4 66 date code on it....we found a 2 65 coded one..but not date code correct..any help...thank you..
