I have an NOS shroud I'd sell, does not have the rubber insulator (I don't believe any of the NOS ones do).
-
Post a link to it?

I think I would be putting a new battery cable on there very soon...

The mats with the stripes are being reproduced now. At least I have seen them advertised for sale...

Yeah, I bought a set when they first came out as that was the style of mats that were in my car when I purchased it. They are made by Mustang Market, the only place I've seen selling them is Auto Krafters. Unless they have done something to improve them the stripes turn yellow/brown the first time the sun hits them...
Here is a link to Auto Krafters auction:

I was under the impression there was no difference in a standard 289 block and a hipo block...

I attempted that with an NOS H-pipe but it still rusted and in concours trailered they dinged me for it being painted.

Thanks Herb, congrats on your Gold! You are now two points closer to getting your medallion...
Was an enjoyable show, always good to see all my Mustang friends. Sure glad they bumped up the award ceremony to noon instead of the scheduled 2PM, being a 3 hour ceremony it would have been 6PM before we would have been able to hit the road and that is way to late. I only had two gripes about the show. First was the number of cars that left early on Saturday, they should have all been disqualified. MCA is getting way to lax on this issue. Second gripe was the length of the awards ceremony. Three hours is too long. The host club did a great job with the exception of moving along the presentation of awards.
Was good to see everyone, not sure if I will make any shows next year due to distance. Nothing centrally located next year. Hoping to make Asheville at the very least but only time will tell.

Guys, (Charlees & Wally) The 1 1/2" spacer that I have acording to anouther post looking for 1 and a very rough (installed) measurement from the one on my engine is NOT correct for a HIPO, the correct one is something like 2.3 or 2.4" (look up the other post-there is no mention of the spacer in Tony'd book-just the fan itself)I just sold a lot of 5 spacers on ebay that some were LONGER than that and 1 was SHORTER, I wonder if the "HIPO" spacer is used on any other Ford application so we can check other resources?

The correct 2.36 inch spacer I bought on ebay was being sold as a T-bird spacer. Don't recall for what year(s) or engine.

I figured you did, just didn't hear it (couldn't hear much of anything). Turned in medallion app after the show, planning on receiving it at the National in Raleigh.

66GTK: How long ago did you buy and install your system? mine was bought and installed about 9 months ago.
If Motive was making a system that they were having no complaints about why would they switch to something else? are they being forced to have their systems made overseas now??

Purchased and installed in 2003-2004

Mine fit like a glove and have no rattling issues. Perhaps the newer ones are lacking in quality?
-
Thanks Herb! I didn't hear what you won, hopefully you picked up a gold as well...
I did about a dozen runs down the strip Friday with the Roush, couldn't break 14 seconds so had me wishing it was supercharged. Also did the fast track laps on Sunday with Fred (C7ZZ) as a passenger. Was told we were hitting 110 on the straights, I never looked at the speedo myself.
Was a fun weekend, kudos to the Indy club for putting on a good show!

Bicycle inner tube is what I used as well...
-
Nope, I don't remember any last year. Don't think they are allowed to in the park.
-
I'm going, taking the Roush instead of the k this year though.

Dave, email me and I'll send you a copy...

Once I figure out how to make a copy of it I'll be glad to share it.

I have an original template...
