I'n not 100% sure this is an original as repros are now available of the early style lid, the seller is full of crap stating reproduction stickers do not have the engineering number. I've got one in front of me right now that does.

I've got an original 5A base I might consider parting with Wallace, get in touch if your interested and we can discuss it. Also have the original later style lid with it (with original decal), has had a small (1/8") hole drilled in it for some reason and needs rechromed for a show car.

This has nothing to do with carb conversion, but after my experience with Kurt today, I wouldn't trust him...to touch my carb. I have been trying to call him for several days to make arrangements to have my carb restored. He never answered his phone, nor did he return voice mail. I tried a couple more times today, and finally got an answer, and he jumped my a$$ for calling him 12 times. (Dude, don't post your...phone number on your web page if you don't want people calling you.) Anyway, after I listened to him...and then hang up on me, I decided I'd rather pay Pony the big bucks to do my carb. Kurt, you can shove it... Attitudes like yours I don't have to and won't deal with.

Brinks car is a coupe, the seller states fastback. I doubt if it is the last k fastback but considering the rarity of 67 k codes it probably is close. It wouldn't surprise me if Brinks '67 coupe was the last k coupe made though. Might even be the last k...

alright fellas, up for auction is an original autolite FA-41 air cleaner element. this is the real deal. this is a very very rare part. i have not seen another one of these on ebay in a very long time. this is the absolutely concours correct air filter element for any 65,66 hipo mustang, big block shelbys, mach 1 mustangs and even the boss mustangs. this part is absolutely necessary for that show car. if you want to really impress those judges, do not pass up on this air filter. the air filter is in perfect condition. the mesh screen is perfect, with no dents, dings or rust anywhere. the paper element inside is also perfect, with no discoloration or tears. it comes in it's original autolite box. the air filter element is stamped with the part number C7SF-9601-A. this is the real deal item guys. this is not one of those later motorcraft pieces, this is an original 40 year old part. you may not see another one of these again for a long time...

I wouldn't had seen it if I hadn't recognized the background from being at Birmingham. Let's see, Murph's kar is next to mine, I don't recollect the owners name of the white kar next to Murph, Craig's kar is next, then Gary's kar. I think Jerry's kar was next to Gary but is not in the pic.

Unfortunately if you want the tapered tubes yes. I don't know what the PO of my car did that he destroyed the rear end but my kar had a '57 straight tube 9" in it which I had retubed to more closely resemble the original rear. I'm still looking for an original '66 9" housing to this day. I've seen several '65 9" housings but have yet to find a '66 (at least that wasn't price completely out of the ball park). I feel fortunate to have the original VIN stamped engine in the kar!

Wow! I don't recall ever seeing one go for the starting bid and the BIN price is off the charts.

I don't recall ever seeing an NOS one to compare to. I will agree the BIN is very wishfull thinking, probably hoping for that loaded shelby buyer. A nice date coded piece, could bring the bucks...

This kind of stuff always pops out when ebay has a 15 cent listing special....

This NOS HiPo fan was NOT SOLD, and did not not have any bids. Opening bid was set at $1000.00 by eBay seller "gopanthers2005", with a Buy It Now price of $2500.00!

Ron... Thanks for the helpful information. Maybe I need to send them the exact information I need on the tag.

That's what I did when I ordered my engine tag from them. I didnt want them to guess what should be there.
