Junk, junk, and more junk. I thought ACC promised they would make better carpet for us. Looks like the same ol shit in under a new disguise. Thanks for the heads up Troy.

Sounds as if he doesn't want to quote the price as it must be high?

The price is not cheap nor is it unreasonable. Fred is doing a 1st class job on these and I don't think you will find anyone else offering this service.

Radials were available on Mustangs starting sometime during 1966 production.

Not that I care but then why are radials deducted for in trailered? Is it because they are P-metric?

Here's a pic of the original flywheel from my Jan 66 kar. Bob, I've emailed you a couple pics.

What casting is your January 66 flywheel -- C3OE or C6ZE? I would like to get a closeup picture of any stampings just outboard from the counterweight, or other identifying marks.

It is a C3OE. Took a couple pictures but left the camera at work. Will try to remember to bring it home tonight...

Not sure... I'll take a look and grab a couple pics today.

Just my thoughts but I would think a factory Rally-Pac would be color keyed to the interior, a dealer or owner added would be black.

Down to the lower 1990's this week. Will be getting into my 80's either next week or week after.

I've got the original flywheel off my Jan 66 kar but I'm not sure you would want it. It's been surfaced as far as you can go and has lots of heat cracks...

Wish you could have repro'd the "wings" a little better. Otherwise a nice piece.

I was under the impression the parts houses all list a different starter for manual and automatic cars (including the early ones) and all of them have them listed backwards. I know I had to put the original snout on a new starter for it to line up properly (actually I ended up pulling the entire guts and put it in the original case as well). I do know for sure the starters listed for our cars do have two different snouts whether they are supposed to or not I couldn't say.

Sure wish we had this kind of documentation for a Dearborn kar. I assume you will pass this info along to Jack?

In case anyone is interested I am regrettably selling of all my back issues of Mustang Monthly on fleebay. Current auctions up are full years of 1994, 1995, 1996, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2007. All full years above 2000 (except 2007) have already been sold. I am working my way backwards through my collection and should have at least 10 more years worth to go through and inventory. We are consolidating our household in anticipation of a move next year and this is one of the things I decided to let go.

Also if anyone is interested I have most of the last 5-6, maybe 7? years of the Mustang Times I would let go all or in parts to a good home just for the shipping cost and paypal fees.

Hmmmmm.... thats not good. One of the main purposes of this site is the registry. If it is not working then someone needs to fix it.

Just an FYI while we are talking about drive shafts: Jack at Dead Nuts On builds very nice reproduction drive shafts, top quality!!

I will vouch for that, Jack did my driveshaft and it turned out very nice.

I may have to go up the the news stand and buy an issue. After over subscribing for over 25 years I finally let my subscription expire earlier this year.

Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope you put hardened valve seats in. Yeah, 91 - 93 will be fine.

Sigh, I wish you were around when I was restoring my K. If the $$$ weren't so tight right now I'd be jumping all over this.
