I called this seller and after he said the price is $75,000 I said "good luck" and I didnt ask any more questions.
-
I sold this car on ebay for $33,400
-
Mike,Im sure it will show up somewhere in your area.Let me know if you see it.I already miss the car.Im now looking for a fastback Kar which needs a motor.
-
I would like to get some key blanks too.
-
It went to Kingspoint ,Ny. Are you near that, Mcfly?
-
The sale is completed with a very happy buyer who found no faults. This car went to long island,ny.
-
I am the seller of this Kar and happy with the price.I recieved the deposit from the buyer and he is to pick up the car next week.So its almost sold, but I think he should be happy with it.

It looks like a tired old 302 to me.Dont you just love the trunk picture with the mat covering up what you really want to see?
-
The original dealer invoice shows ,dealer added air.The paperwork is laying inside the trunk on an ebay picture and shows this fact.

All 3 vin numbers are identical with both stampings in each spot being the 6R09K and 6R07K.Meaning the hidden vins are corrected the same way.The engine and trans are stamped with the 6R07 number.

I own this car now and it is a very nice car.The only thing sad is people like you guessing it recieved a front clip, which puts a black cloud over the car.If you read the above post in which I have discovered another San jose 66 which got the same exact restamping vin size due to a mistake on the assembly line.Yes,it looks homemade, but 2 cars from the same factory with the same larger letters?
-
Now here is mine. The picture above is from a C code car presently on ebay.I had the owner send me a closup pic after viewing his identical factory mistamp.[Blocked Image: http://i48.tinypic.com/2qbhhf8.jpg]

Here is another corrected vin done exactly the same,at the same factory. Now this fastback started on the assembly with a coupe vin number. I think this is proof enough[Blocked Image: http://i45.tinypic.com/25k5u7l.jpg]

It was discussed here in length about the double vin stamping on this car.I defended the story of a factory mistake of the car starting out with a 09 in the vin number and they corrected it with a new vin with 07 for a coupe.Well it seems that same mistake happened with another 66 San Jose car and the correction is just like mine with the V for void at the old number and the new number being in larger letters. This other car is on ebay, item number 160394359749.I spoke with its original owner who swears his has never had any damage.I am attaching a vin picture of his car which is 3000 miles from mine.So now what do you folks think?[Blocked Image: http://i45.tinypic.com/25k5u7l.jpg]

I have the carb you need,C4OF AL It just came back from All American Carburetors having been rebuilt. It looks like new and I havent installed it yet.I removed it from a spare 65 k motor I have to put it on my 66 K car.I may part with it if you have a 66 carb to trade in.Im also in Orlando,so you can view it easily.[Blocked Image: http://i50.tinypic.com/23t3us0.jpg]
