Just been looking at the VIN stamping on the inner fender. Is this correct as I don't see any star stamp at the start or end of the number? Did some cars come stamped like this?
Cheers

Hi Steve
Accel made a replacement set as well. Has stronger springs etc, good quality and work well, part no. 110400. Not sure if they still make them but worth checking.

Hi Fred
I have just removed my fuel pump only to discover it is not a hipo pump. Someone must have replaced it years ago. I am alittle unset as I know how hard these are to get.
What do you have that could get me going with the correct look pump and how much??

Hi Guys
Where should the ignition coil be mounted on a March 65 GTK ?. I have seen coils mounted in 3 different places, drivers side on the engine block, opposite side behind the oil dipstick or on top of the inlet manifold??

Hi
I have 205 60 front, 235 60 rear fitted on 15x7 aftermarket style wheels. They fill the wheel opening and I do not have tire rub. The front has the 1 inch drop, just have to be careful on driveways etc
I am happy with the aggressive look and the car handles great and I have not modified the fenders. Put the orginal style wheels away and will keep.
Hope this is of some help.
Cheers

Hi Guys
I have 215/60 x 15 front and 235/60 x 15 BF Goodrich tyres fitted to 15 x 7 rally style rims on my k code. The car has the shebly lowered front and have not experienced any tire rub at all and all the body work is untouched.
These wheels fill the wheel well completely and the car handles and drives extremely well. I have kept my original 14in style wheels and will fit some dual redline tyres for show days etc.

Hi Guys
I have a small dent in the stainless steel drip rail ( roof moulding)and wish to remove it to have it repaired. Before I tackle this, any tips to remove it.
Cheers

I have checked the pan for porous leaks, so far all good. Went for a drive, and rechecked for leaks. Still clean.
I don't want to tackle another for awhile. Meantime I will pass on my experience to Tony Branda.
Thanks for the response. My son and I have managed to fit the pan, took 2 days in all. I had to mill aprox 1 inch from the back casting rib inside the pan, re align holes and repair and modify the flaps inside as well. I am glad I was not paying anyone for the job. I would not recommend this for the beginner.
Cheers
