Still relatively new to this K code thing ( I own an A code 66 gt ) Ive seen someone selling a 65 mustang K code down under with a paxton super charger. Is that an add on or was it an option back in 65/66

Hi All , Ive just landed a great job , commencing the search for a k code 66 gt auto mission

my apologies to all concerned , still new to this site

the question is this, if one finds a K code car ( vin with K ) and the engine is not a k ecode engine., if you find a k code block ( in this example lets say the car is a 65 mustang ) from a 66 and the heads are from a 67 ( proper k heads) and restore it that way with k parts from 65 to 66 is the car technically a K code and can it be registered on the K code registry

Hi All , what is a realistic price to pay for a numbers 65/66 k code not a show car but neat driver, some of the prices Iv'e seen on the net are bordering on ridiculous , 62k for example . If I were to pay that much I would be expecting a build sheet. Any comments

the Australian gt falcon early 70s gtho is the king down here one went for just under a million last year very low production numbers, better chance of finding 5 good K codes to 1 decent falcon, I'm sure the Aussie members would agree
-
I hope I am not being insensitive here does that mean that there could be bigger chance of finding that 66 gt k code auto ? In Australia we have not been hit yet by the actions of the wall street speculators. Hold on people

just checked out ebay , looks like you have a bit of competition (I think your is the one with the best description and the better one, my opinion only)

having bought several mustang parts on ebay and parts places as long as we Aussies have a tracking number from the carrier ( i.e. US post or Fedex ect no problem) My only criticism is that shipping out of the US is sometimes more that the item cost.
