Hi, I installed a lower shifter (repop) boot onto my toploader shifter on my Kar.
When I put the shifter into 1st gear it feels and looks like the shifter arm is jamming the boot between the lever and the gearbox housing. I had trouble finding any suitable pictures before I installed it.
Should I cut the piece out or space the shifter away from the housing or maybe it is installed wrong . The levers are placed in what appears to be the correct holes before I installed it. sorry no pictures yet. I also got another lower boot as the one I installed looked slightly mishaped.
