• The seller seems to be honest in their description but does not truly understand the significance of the cracks around the studs. These cracks usually happen from using aftermarket studs, of which some are meant for Chevy heads. They have a different finish where they seat on the head and can crack this rocker arm stud boss. This can, and usually does, get worse and is a major repair issue as there are very few places who can correct this problem. It is also very expensive to correct.

    1965 1966 Ford 289 HiPo Shelby GT-350 Cylinder Heads

    Matching 5F8 (1965 June 8th) date codes.

This is the nicest set of 1965 GT350 cylinder heads I have cherry picked collecting during the last 10 years with no time or expenses spared. Only notable flaw is some minor pitting in a small area of the base, visible in sixth close-up picture attached. Cooling chambers are incredibly clean and you can verify this by looking at the inner-side of the original factory assembly line <1-1/2> stamped freeze plugs removed. Pushrod slots are all in excellent condition. I do not see any evidence of porting, or machining to bases. Late 1965 production parts are very tough to find in comparison to 1964 and 1966 date codes. I have only seen one other set of 5F (June 1965) dated Hi-Po heads for sale in the last 10 years.
